Specializing in advanced joint replacement techniques to restore mobility and quality of life.

ABOUT DR. POOLE

Dr. Colin Poole is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with more than three decades of experience in hip and knee joint replacement. After completing his orthopedic residency at the University of Washington in Seattle — one of the nation’s premier training programs — he pursued a fellowship in total joint replacement at the prestigious Scripps Clinic in San Diego.

As an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), Dr. Poole has long been recognized for bringing advanced surgical technologies and techniques to patients in Idaho, with a particular focus on young, active individuals seeking reliable, long-lasting outcomes.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Poole’s approach blends highly personalized patient engagement with evidence-based surgical decision-making. He emphasizes a conservative evaluation of non-operative options before recommending joint replacement, ensuring that surgery is truly aligned with each patient’s goals and lifestyle. His independent practice model allows him to prioritize patient-centered care and make clinical decisions without being constrained by system-level mandates.
