Take a look at what we’re offering incoming surgeons and staff.

How we choose the cream of the crop.

Our recruiting process isn’t about quickly filling roles or what’s left in the budget, it’s about the perfect fit. As we like to say, the best person to hire a surgeon is another surgeon. And our list of criteria is a long one. Is this person kind, respectful? What about their talent and track record? Is their readmission rate low, do they follow procedures properly? On and on.

It’s all designed to create trust and make every experience at Everest safe and positive.

Meet our Director of Nursing, Ashlee Swander

“I only want to work with people I’d send my family to, and those people are here.”

Overseeing most of our staff, Ashlee has a unique strategy to guarantee the optimal patient experience - happy, motivated, and supported employees. To her, a culture of care means investing in employees, so they can invest in the patients. And no facility she’s ever worked in has the culture that Everest does. Born and raised in Idaho, Ashlee and her husband are outdoor enthusiasts, never missing a chance to teach their two children the joy of adventure and the bounty of nature.
