About Dr. Neuschwander
Dr. Tim Neuschwander is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and joint replacement. He treats a wide range of shoulder, hip, and knee conditions using both minimally invasive techniques and advanced reconstructive procedures to help patients restore mobility and return to an active lifestyle.
After earning his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Dr. Neuschwander completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He continued his training through a research fellowship supported by the National Institutes of Health before completing a sports medicine fellowship with the renowned Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group.
Before joining Everest, Dr. Neuschwander practiced in McCall, Idaho, where he cared for patients with sports injuries, arthritis, and complex orthopaedic conditions while enjoying the active mountain lifestyle that continues to shape his approach to patient care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Neuschwander has cared for athletes competing at every level. He served as Assistant Team Physician for the LA Galaxy, volunteered as a team physician at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, and served as Head Orthopaedic Physician for Northern Michigan University Athletics.
His combination of fellowship-level sports medicine training and experience with elite athletes allows him to bring high-performance principles to patients of all activity levels.

His firsthand appreciation for an active lifestyle helps shape his patient-centered approach and reinforces his commitment to helping others get back to doing what they love.
