Dr. Shane Leavitt is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing with West Idaho Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Caldwell, Meridian, and Fruitland, Idaho. He specializes in arthroscopic, sports, and joint procedures - with focused expertise in shoulder, knee, elbow, fracture care, and total joint replacement. 

Dr. Leavitt earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2003, completed an internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and pursued his orthopedic surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University / Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. Dr. Leavitt is committed to treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions- whether sports injuries, illness, or trauma - while providing timely management and focused rehabilitation care.
