Dr. Jared Johnson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder surgery and sports-related injuries. He performs a high volume of shoulder replacement, reverse total shoulder replacement, and shoulder repairs with a focus on helping patients return to the highest activity level possible.
After earning his medical degree from Cornell University, Dr. Johnson completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He then completed advanced fellowship training at the internationally recognized Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, receiving specialized training in complex shoulder surgery, shoulder replacement, knee ligament reconstruction, and cartilage restoration procedures.
During his time in Vail, Dr. Johnson also served as a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams, further strengthening his expertise in high-performance sports medicine and injury recovery.
